The essence of the proposal is based on the combination of a tight budget and the determination to maximize internal resources. A simple and effective exhibition structure was conceived, consisting of essential elements: a platform, background walls, a spacious counter, and ingenious lighting. The corner of the stand remained open, inviting the audience to immerse themselves in the world of VERDI by providing visibility and access.
The central concept of the design is the impressive “textile waterfall,” meticulously crafted with handwoven carpets, each one unique in its creation. Descending gracefully from a height of 5 meters, this majestic creation merges natural fibers with metal threads, creating a textile masterpiece that captivates onlookers.
The stand’s walls were conceived as canvases where textile modules, framed in wood and produced by VERDI, create a gallery of textures and colors, highlighting the rich diversity of textiles produced by the company.
To stay in line with the budget, a cost-effective material was carefully selected to harmonize with the natural tones used by VERDI in their products. This material was used to create a platform that serves as a kind of “tray,” connecting the main area with the stand’s furniture, including the display counter and some chairs.
Lighting played a crucial role in creating the desired ambiance, adding an industrial touch and giving the stand a distinctive personality.
This project perfectly exemplifies the harmonious union of creative design and budget efficiency, resulting in a unique and attractive exhibition space for VERDI at the Salone del Mobile Milano 2023. It is a testament to how innovation and dedication can turn limitations into opportunities, transforming a vision into a captivating reality.
